MHA Poem 30: Memories

MEMORIES

Memories, where’d you go? You were all I’ve ever know. -“Memories” by Panic! at the Disco

The wind whispered against my neck and it reminded me of your breath.

A breath that you don’t breathe onto my anymore.

The sun doesn’t shine quite as bright as it did when we walked down these streets.

But maybe that’s because you’re not walking them with me anymore.

The sky looked so wide when I saw it reflected in your eyes as you looked into mine.

That’s how your love made me feel when our lives were still intertwined forevermore.
