Hello & Welcome Back to another year of Mental Health Awareness! I did not do Escapril, like I did last year, but life has been busy. There’s so many wheels turning that I’ve granted myself grace to try new things and explore different creative projects. However! Mental Health is a topic that is very important to me and I’m back again to make the month of May all about Mental Health Awareness through poetry, just like last year! I’ve put together a whole new set of prompts for you to use – and I do so encourage you to participate as much as you can! Read about the prompts, learn more about them, and help me help others feel noticed, understood, and most of all – that it’s okay not to be okay. I’m going to sharing and re-sharing this everywhere that I’m already on social media. It would be awesome if you could help me get this circulating, too, so I can maybe get some other people participating.
Here’s what we’re working with for May 2020’s Mental Health Awareness Month for the Poetry Intiative:
