Escapril Day 25: pareidolia

Writer's picture: Alixx BlackAlixx Black

What did you see in me, when I was broken and empty

Did you see your reflection, a reverberation of your soul

How did you find the will to have hope in someone like me

When I couldn’t even find the strength to care enough to live

Maybe you saw something that wasn’t there

Pareidolia, perceiving the non-existent humanity in something

Where no humanity exists, was that the case with us?
