Hey Readers 🙂
The last few weeks have been particularly difficult for me and has resulted in three weeks where I’ve posted my Thursday story late. Well, if you’re a regular reader and know the schedule, you’ll have noticed. Otherwise, you know from my Facebook Page updates that I’ve had to postpone the last few pieces.
In some cases, things that were out of my control were the main perpetrators. In other cases, it was just a poor balance of time between many jobs. This week, it’s more a poor use of time as a result of many things that were out of my control.
Since this would make the fourth week that I’ll have to make the announcement that I’m posting late again, I’ve decided that two days is just not enough time to get my work done in the current work conditions and personal obligations that I have. Instead of posting my traditionally formatted stories about the dinners and moments that Santiago shares with Caroline, I’ll now make my posting deadline Fridays.
So – for clarity:
Every Monday (Unless specified otherwise): Grief Group Transcript
Every Friday: A short story detailing the “dinners” with Caroline that Santiago enjoys.
I do apologize for the change, and, while I expected I would have to eventually make an adjustment to the schedule, I did not think it would be so soon. To my credit, I hadn’t anticipated getting a paid writing job when I started this project either, so life is still predictably unpredictable. The most oxy of morons, if that makes any sense.
I appreciate your patience and understanding as I implement this change immediately. The frequency of story updates will not be changing, just a shift to allow extra time to prepare the weekly story so that it is not only my best work but the best me writing it too. I want to tell a good story as my first priority.
